Lake Tahoe offers adventures all year round for children and adults alike. From skiing to kayaking, there are many activities for families to get you outside and active! In today’s blog we are going over Lake Tahoe adventures for you and you children to enjoy while you are visiting Lake Tahoe.

Squaw Valley Adventure Center

Squaw Valley Adventure Center is located just north of Lake Tahoe in Squaw Valley. They offer a wide variety of outdoor activities for families and children including a ropes course, bungee trampoline, climbing wall, and mini golf. Their hours vary depending on the day of the week, the season, and the activity so be sure to check out their website while you are planning your vacation.

Mountain Bike Park

Northstar at Tahoe offers a great mountain bike park for older children and their families. They have a variety of trails ranging in difficulty from “less difficult” to “difficult.” If you are vacationing here, don’t worry, they have bike rentals on site. Northstar also offers biking camp for children 10-16 during the summer.

Skiing or Snowboarding Lessons

If your family is visiting in the winter, Lake Tahoe is a great place to try skiing or snowboarding if your child has never hit the slopes before. Most resorts in the area offer skiing and snowboarding lessons for children, teens, and adults! Your kids won’t want to come in after learning how to ski or snowboard.

Kayaking

If your family loves the water than be sure to check out the lake on a kayak! From May to October you can join Tahoe Adventure Company for a guided tour from an expert tour guide. Tours range from a beginners 2 hour paddle to a full 5 hour tour for experienced kayakers.

We hope that you found a new adventure or two for your visit to Lake Tahoe. Don’t forget to check out Joanna’s Nannies for all your babysitting needs!live streaming movie Grimsby
