Everyone knows that Sonoma County is famous for its vineyards, and other fun activities for adults. But what about the kids? There are plenty of great family friendly activities for you and your family to explore as well. Whether you live in the area or are visiting on vacation, there is a something for everyone in your family.  In today’s blog, we will be discussing Sonoma County kids activities and family outing options.Children’s Museum of Sonoma CountyThis hands on and interactive children’s museum has exhibits that are custom designed for children up to 10 years old.  With exhibits such as TOTopia, Mary’s Garden  and Ella’s Art Studio, and the Science and Imagination Gallery your family is guaranteed to have a great time. The museum also holds regular events that your kids may enjoy.  On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10 am they host story time with a different activity each day at 2pm.  On Thursday morning, they host two Musical Movements classes at 10 am and 10:45 am. It is clear to see why the CMOSC is one of the many great Sonoma County kids activities. It is worth noting that the museum is closed September 27 - October 4 for annual maintenance.FundemoniumFundemonium is one of the hidden gems of Sonoma County kids activities. It is not only a toy, hobby, and game store but offers a wide variety of activities that your kids will love.  This 14,000 square foot facility includes a play area, slot car track, 1,200 square foot indoor R/C car track, R/C rock crawler area, LEGO play, teddy bear stuffing and more! Don’t have R/C vehicles or slot cars? Not to worry, they rent out R/C cars, R/C rock climbers, and slot cars so your kids don’t have to miss out on anything.  They even allow kids to operate the trains on their two track model train layout. You may visit for a fun afternoon out and find a new hobby to share with your kids.Scandia Family Fun CenterThis family fun center house some great Sonoma County kids activities including miniature golf, batting cages, bumper cars and much more. The facility boasts two 18-hole miniature golf courses and 18 batting cages with fast and slow pitch options.  The bumper boats are equipped with water sprayers to add a unique dimension to this fun water activity. They also have the Lil’ Indy Raceway which houses go-kart racing with straight aways and banked turns. This year they have also added bumper cars for a new fun option the whole family can enjoy.
