DIY Travel Binder Printables to Make Holiday Travel Easier

Visiting family for the holidays is exciting, but sometimes getting the entire family to one place can be a challenge. If you plan to make the trek by car, prepare ahead of time to make the road trip easier on everyone. You’ve probably learned to pack plenty of snacks and entertainment but this year, try putting together travel binders for all the kiddos.

A travel binder is an easy way to create custom activities for your child and keep them occupied in the back seat. You can choose themes and games relevant to your child’s interest and give each kid their own personal experience. Travel binders are a great way to document the memories from your trip and keep your kids happy and busy during those long stretches of the drive.

To help get you started on a binder, check out these free printables from The Zebra to make your road trip more fun. They’ve included coloring pages, scavenger hunts, and even car coupons to be redeemed from the back seat. There’s also a full list of 28 resources to fill your binders up for the first trip.

These printables include activities for kids preschool and up so the whole family has something to do. All you need to do is print out the activities, create your binder, and pack some crayons or markers for the road. The best part is that once your kids complete these, you can add new printables to keep things fresh.
